Chapter Awards
Harrison-Winder Memorial Award
This award is presented annually in memory of Ambrose J. Winder and Louis A. Harrison for all their efforts in advancing the appraisal profession. They were leaders, and their doors were open to all in need of aid and guidance. This award is given to the person who has continued to represent these ideals.
Each year, the Committee shall select an individual who has made an outstanding contribution to the appraisal profession to be honored with a suitable award at the annual December Meeting of the Chapter. The December meeting is chosen out of respect for the memory of Louis A. Harrison, founding Philadelphia Chapter President of the Society of Real Estate Appraisers who voluntarily sponsored annual Christmas gatherings for the folks of the Appraisal Profession in the interest of promoting good will within the appraisal community.

Felice A. Rocca, Jr. Memorial Award
This award was created by the Philadelphia Metropolitan Chapter of the Appraisal Institute to honor one of our most distinguished person(s) who was an inspiration to all of us. Felice A. Rocca, Jr., had an upbeat view of life, gentlemanly demeanor, and a high sense of ethical behavior on a personal and professional level—a person of integrity. This memorial award is presented to real estate professionals who exhibit these qualities.
