Experienced Appraiser Wanted

Indian Valley Appraisal Company is seeking a state-certified and/or advanced MAI candidate for a full-time commercial real estate appraiser position. The appraiser will have the opportunity to further their career through mentoring, education, collaboration, and practical experience valuing a broad spectrum of commercial property types. The appraiser will be an integral part of our already cohesive team with access to multiple supervising appraisers and a full complement of digital databases. Responsibilities will be varied but will include the following:

· Complete appraisal assignments in a timely manner, ensuring the highest level of quality; the assignments will include, but are not limited to, multi-family, retail, office, commercial and industrial properties in the region (primarily Montgomery, Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Lehigh and Northampton Counties).

· Efficiently using our in-house software to produce a high-quality product.

· Adeptly collect, verify and analyze comparable market data.

· Effectively communicate and collaborate with IVAC associates and clients.

At minimum, candidate should have:

· Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a related field.

· At least three years of experience in real estate appraisal.

· Completed most of the educational requirements for general certification

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a capacity to quickly learn our in-house data programs.

· Strong analytical, critical thinking, research and organizational skills.

· Effective verbal and written communication skills.

· A strong work ethic with an ability to prioritize and meet deadlines while still exercising good judgment to produce a quality appraisal report. If this sounds like you, then kindly forward your resume to david@ivappraisal.com.
